Sri Lanka Delegates Visit Pobitora Sanctuary

As many as_20 representatives of the Sri Lankan Parliament visited the Pobitora Wild Life Sanctuary today ,the densest sanctuary of the horned rhinoes in the world.The delegation, led by Speaker of the Sri Lankan Parliament Mahinda Yapa, had visited the Jijina Resort in Pobitora and then took a jeep safari to the Sanctuary The Sri Lankan delegation was impressed by seeing world famous rhinos, wild buffaloes, wild boars and more than 4000 migratory birds as well as the beautiful environment of the sanctuary. The Sri Lankan delegation visiting India and Assam said that a large number of tourists from their country will come to Assam in coming days and Sri Lankan government will name the POBITORA Sanctuary as a visiting spot in their tour diary.
