In New Delhi, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced good news about their space mission, Chandrayaan-3. On July 14, 2023, a part of the rocket called the cryogenic upper stage was safely removed after it helped the spacecraft get into space. It fell back into the Earth's atmosphere and landed in the North Pacific Ocean, which was safe and planned. ISRO followed the rules for space safety, making sure this part of the rocket didn't stay in space for more than 25 years.
They also made sure it wouldn't explode by removing any leftover fuel. This careful work shows ISRO's commitment to keeping space activities safe for a long time. Alongside this, ISRO is inviting young people in India to share their creative ideas for space robots, like rovers, that could be used in future space missions. They are organizing a competition where students can design a rover with wheels or legs, which includes building both the machine and its software.
The best ideas might be used in ISRO's future space projects. This has proven to be a great step for young people to get involved in space exploration and show their innovation.
