Guwahati 14 Nov: Govardhan Puja was celebrated with great devotion at the Jagannath Mandir in Guwahati, organized by the Iskcon North East Chapter. The day-long festivities featured Kirtan dedicated to Sri Hari and a special Abhisek ceremony led by Radheyshyam Prabhu. Puspanjali Saikia, a renowned writer and esteemed speaker on Gita and Bhagwat Katha, also played a significant role in the ceremonies. In addition, the highlight of the 'Govardhan Jayanti' celebrations was the 'Bhagavad bakhya,' eloquently explained by Vindapati Prabhu from Mayapur Iskcon. This event saw a large turnout of devotees participating in the celebrations, marking the occasion with spiritual zeal.
