In the bustling Barbari area of Guwahati, a catastrophic fire incident struck on Sunday, causing havoc and destruction in its wake. The conflagration erupted in the heart of the local bazaar situated at Barbari Tiniali, where a cluster of shops, numbering at least 19, were engulfed in flames, reducing them to mere ashes. Amongst the establishments affected were predominantly vendors of fruits and vegetables, whose livelihoods were devastated in the blaze.

The community of Barbari is reeling from the aftermath, with many harboring suspicions that the blaze could have been an act of deliberate sabotage by unknown individuals.
