JNV Morigaon Marks Silver Jubilee with Insightful Talks on Future Paths and Social Responsibility

November 25: The Silver Jubilee celebrations of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya(JNV) Morigaon, a residential educational institution run by the Ministry of Education , Government of India, concluded with a bridge building ceremony among old and new students on the first day today .The event was attended by the Editor-in-Chief of Amar Assam newspaper, prominent journalist and Sahitya Academy Award winner Manoj Kumar Goswami. In his speech at the launch of the memorial book, prominent journalist Goswami addressed the students and said that they should always think big in life. With the triumph of contemporary science and technology, space missions have already opened up the space that many of mankind are curious about,he added.

Therefore, we have to expand our scope of thought. He said that the students should develop a mentality of serving the society, nation and country with a service attitude in their lives. Always be with like-minded friends so that something can be gained collectively. Never ignore or neglect your opponent. He added that the process of learning in life should be continuous and planning in life should be done in a classified manner so that if you cannot succeed in 'A', you can succeed in 'B' or 'C' He added that one should never try to break the law of the land in life. Always obey the law with respect Goswami added.. Always respect your neighbors and maintain good relations with them. Always stay away from drugs or narcotics. Drugs are already banned in the developed countries of the world. It has been able to climb these ladders of progress. You have to learn to love life. Only then will diseases like suicide be removed from the society. Human life is very precious. Therefore, it is good to enjoy life while maintaining good health. There are three paths in the life of students after completion of education. There are three paths in the life of students after completion of education. They are jobs, business and social services. They should establish themselves by moving forward with integrity and honesty in the path they want to move forward.  

The event was attended by Morigaon Law College Vice-Principal Niranjan Kumar Barua, Assam Sahitya Sabha Central  Executive Member Ajit Sharma, Charaibahi College Professor Deepika Goswami Mohanta and North East Regional Advisory Board Member of Film Standards Council of Government of India Sailendra Pandey and Nirode Bora Subject Teacher ,Morigaon Higher Secondary Multipurpose School. The seminar on the topic 'Profession after students life and  Social responsibility' was conducted by Journalist Dalim Phukan.Dilip Bora,Principal,Ramanujan Junior College ..Nagaon delivered keynote lecture
