Telangana BJP Announces First List of Assembly Election Candidates
The Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its primary list of candidates for the forthcoming Assembly elections. This first list showcases 52 names, which have been greenlit by the party's top brass, including national figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar: A seasoned political figure and former state leader of the party, Kumar will be vying for a win in the Karimnagar constituency. His leadership and past contributions make him a significant name in the list.

Eatala Rajender: Former Minister Rajender is set to challenge Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the Gajwel constituency. He will also represent his traditional stronghold of Huzurabad. His dual role indicates the trust the party places in him.

Dharmapuri Aravind and Soyam Babu Rao: Both these Members of Parliament have been assigned pivotal roles. Aravind will compete in Koratla, while Rao will be contesting in Boath. Their inclusion is seen as a strategic move to leverage their existing popularity.
