APCC Pays Tribute to Late Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on his third Death Anniversary

The (APCC) Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has organized a shraddhanjali (tribute) program to mark the third death anniversary of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at Rajiv Bhawan. During the event, APCC's working president, Rana Goswami, shared insights into Tarun Gogoi's life and achievements.

Goswami emphasized Tarun Gogoi's role in revitalizing the state's economy during his tenure as Chief Minister, highlighting his efforts to uplift Assam from economic challenges. He also praised Tarun Gogoi's political acumen in dealing with militant issues, which helped maintain peace in Assam.

As a mark of respect, Congress leaders and members present at the event offered floral tributes to Tarun Gogoi's portrait. Among the attendees were Dr. Hemahari Pegu,  MLA Abdus Sobahan Ali Sarkar, Mira Borthakur Goswami, Apurba Kumar Bhattarcharjee, Mehdi Alam Borah, former MLA Anwar Hussain Laskar, and others.

The shraddhanjali program served as a poignant moment to honor and remember the late Chief Minister's contributions to Assam's development and peace.
