Evan Ellingson, once a child actor in well-known movies and TV shows like "My Sister's Keeper" and "CSI: Miami," has passed away at 35.
He was discovered in a Fontana, California home's bedroom on a Sunday, says the San Bernardino County coroner's office. They are still figuring out the cause of his death.
Ellingson's representative hasn't spoken about this yet.
Michael Ellingson, Evan's father, told TMZ his son was found in a house for people trying to live without drugs. He mentioned Evan had drug issues before but seemed to be getting better lately.
Evan Ellingson first came on TV in 2001 in "General Hospital." He also played a part in the "Titus" TV show from 2001 to 2002.
He acted in the movie "Letters from Iwo Jima" in 2006, which Clint Eastwood directed, and in "My Sister's Keeper" in 2009 with Cameron Diaz.
Ellingson is well-known for his role in "CSI: Miami" as Kyle Harmon, Horatio Cane's son, played by David Caruso, from 2007 to 2010.
After "CSI: Miami," he stopped acting for a while, with that show being his last listed role on IMDb.
