Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board, known as Guwahati Jal Board, has been awarded the prestigious "SKOCH Award" for its remarkable e-governance/IT initiative, "GIS Integrated Portal for Consumer Management." The initiative was selected as the winner after a comprehensive evaluation process involving presentations and expert committee assessments for the SKOCH Award 2023.
The award was proudly received by ACS Smti. Panchami Choudhury Secretary of Guwahati Jal Board, along with ACS Shri. Anurag Rudra Officer on Special Duty of Guwahati Jal Board, during an award ceremony held in Delhi.
Guwahati Jal Board's IT and e-governance initiative aims to streamline consumer experiences by making them paperless and entirely digital. This recognition underscores the organization's commitment to innovation and excellence in the field of technology and public service.
