New Kamakhya Temple to be Built in Maharashtra - Announces Assam Government

T

The Assam government, led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has announced a special plan. They will build a Kamakhya Temple in Maharashtra. This big step comes after Maharashtra's Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, showed support for this idea.

Chief Minister Sarma talked about how both states are working together for this project. They plan to build not just the Kamakhya Temple but also a Namghar in Maharashtra. This idea was liked by Shinde when he visited Assam. Now, CM Sarma is excited to meet him in Mumbai to talk more about it.

This temple will be built near Mumbai on land owned by the state. It's a big deal because the Kamakhya Temple in Assam is a very important religious place in India. Making a similar temple in Maharashtra will help bring people together and share cultural and religious connections between the two states. It will also attract more visitors and promote understanding between different cultures.

The project also includes building a Namghar, which is an important place in Assam for worship and community. This shows the effort to keep Assam's culture alive in Maharashtra.

This plan is more than just about building temples. It's about showing how different parts of India can work together and respect each other's cultures. The new Kamakhya Temple in Maharashtra will be a symbol of unity and faith for many people.
