Former England cricket captain Nasser Hussain believes that New Zealand is the team that can challenge India in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The two teams are ready to play against each other in the semi-final on Wednesday, November 15, at Mumbai's famous Wankhede Stadium.

During the earlier part of the tournament, India defeated New Zealand at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, winning by four wickets. Daryl Mitchell of New Zealand scored a hundred runs, but it wasn't enough. India's Virat Kohli made 95 runs, helping India win.

Hussain also praised Rachin Ravindra from New Zealand, who has scored three centuries and two half-centuries in the World Cup, making him the third-highest scorer in the tournament.

Hussain said, “India is the favorite team, but New Zealand has strong players who won't easily give up. Rachin Ravindra is a talented young player for New Zealand.” He spoke to Sky Sports about this.

He is excited about the match at the Wankhede Stadium, especially when Kohli bats in the evening under the stadium lights.

"I am really looking forward to tomorrow. This place, in the evening with the lights and with Kohli batting, will be very exciting,” Hussain added.

India has won all nine of their matches and was the top team in their group. New Zealand made it to the semi-finals after defeating Sri Lanka in their last group match.
