The match witnessed a strong opening partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, who amassed 100 runs together before Gill was dismissed for a brisk 51 off 32 balls. Virat Kohli even claimed his first ODI wicket in nine years by removing Scott Edwards. India successfully wrapped up the Netherlands' innings in 47.5 overs.
