Good Governance Day observed at Morigaon

In line with the birth anniversary of late Prime Minister of the country Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Good Governance Day was celebrated in Morigaon town yesterday at the initiative of Morigaon District BJP and in collaboration with Tiwa Autonomous Council. On the occasion of this day , specially abled and poor people living in the heart of Morigaon  town were provided with meal and  blankets. The programme was inaugurated by Chief Executive Member of Tiwa Autonomous Council Jeevan Chandra Konwar. 
In his inaugural address, Chief Executive Member of  Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) announced that the Poor Welfare Scheme will be continued which was started in Morigaon town to coincide with the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee..Speaking on the occasion ,Prabin Chandra Medhi,President,Morigaon Zila BJP said that 'Service to men is Service to God'.With this  motto his party has taken the poor welfare scheme in Morigaon town commemorating Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
