Chief Minister inaugurated series of development schemes at Jagiroad

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Shama today (December 24th) officially inaugurated five major development projects constructed by the Government of Assam at a cost of Rs 114.17 crore in Jagiroad in Morigaon district The state government celebrated Development Day in Jagiroad today (December 24th) on the occasion.
 The Chief Minister inaugurated the Jagiroad Railway Flyover Jagiroad Development Authority’s newly built office building,Taranga cycling way of 1.5 KM.Jagiroad Development Authority Auditorium.Janasansog LED Billboard at Jagiroad Police Station and openening of two road safety vehicles.
Addressing a huge public meeting held on the occasion at HPC playground,Piyush Hazarika,Water Resource and I&PR Minister dwelt at length about the developmental scheme implementation in his constituency Jagiroad.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Chief Minister's Awas Yojana like PMAY houses will be launched soon in the state. He also announced that the construction of bridge over Brahmaputra connecting Morigaon and Darang will start soon.The Chief Minister said that Rs 55 crore will be sanctioned for the drainage system to Jagiroad. Moreover Guwahati  City Rig Road will be connected with Jagiroad.Moreover, good news will come to people of Morigaon district as well as whole of Assam as the big Industrial Company TaTa will come forward to establish a electronic semi conductor Industry at Jagiroad whereby a major change will take place in Morigaon and Jagoroad, the Chief Minister added.

The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Member of Karbi’  Autonomous Council ,Tuliram Ranghang .Chief Executive Member of Tiwa Autonomous Council Jeevan Chandra Konwar .MLA Nagaon,Rupak Sarma,MLA Raha,Sachi Kanta Das,MLA,Morigaon Rama Kanta Deori.Minister Kesab Mahanta,Minister Ashok Singhal,DC,Morigaon Devashis Sarma.
