Tribal Pride Day celebrated in Morigaon

Morigaon, Nov 15: The Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) today celebrated the birth anniversary of Bircha Munda in Morigaon with various programs. The program was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Tiwa Autonomous Council, Madan Bardoloi The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Member of Tiwa Autonomous Council Jeevan Chandra Konwar, former Chief Executive Member and retired Professor Chidam Deuri, veteran Tiwa struggling leader, and retired Professor Tulsi Bardoloi. The meeting was attended by executive members Khagen Bardoloi and Surya Konwar, councilors, general members, and Tiwa national organizations.The meeting was attended by more than 500 newly registered self-help groups in the Tiwa Autonomous Council. In the meeting, ST meritorious students were given financial aid by the CEM and other dignitaries. The cultural program was also held on occasion.
