December 13: Assam Water Resources, Information and Public Relations Minister Piyush Hazarika today attended the " Vikashit Bharat Sankalp Yatra" program at Ghagua Gaon Panchayat in Mayang Development block of Morigaon district Government has come to villages for people welfare said the Minister Piyush Hazarika while addressing a meeting at the premises of Ghagua Ras Mandir on the occasion. He said the government has been working hard to ensure that the beneficiaries of any government scheme are not deprived of any government scheme He said the government is continuing its efforts to provide government facilities to every eligible person and to cover those who have not received the benefits of government schemes due to lack of awareness through the schemes on the spot He said the program has given an opportunity to the people's representatives and administration personnel to talk to the villagers and assess their situation. He highlighted various schemes like Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, e-Sram, PM Kisan, Jal Jeevan Abhiyan and urged the eligible persons to avail medical facilities especially under Ayushman Bharat scheme. He said beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat cards will get medical expenses up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. He said the state government will also launch a health insurance scheme of Rs 5 lakh for people earning less than Rs 4 lakh per annum. He urged the people to take advantage of government schemes. He also urged the people to inform the concerned departmental officers and employees if they are not well aware of any scheme. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer of the Morigaon Zila Parishad Laxminandan Chaharia who welcomed the participants and said that the program is aimed at creating awareness among the people about the flagship schemes of the government. He said that if a person is eligible but has not received the benefits of government schemes, he can get the benefits of various schemes during this programme. The meeting was attended by several beneficiaries of various schemes and several beneficiaries were awarded letters of approval and certificates under various government schemes. As part of the meeting, the Department of Agriculture organized a demonstration of nano urea using drone technology. There are also cultural programs organized. The meeting read out the resolution of a developed India. The event was attended by District Development Commissioner Devayani Chowdhury, Superintendent of Police Hemant Kumar Das, Additional District Commissioner Dyutibha Bora, Tiwa Autonomous Council members Binita Daimari, Mihiram Bardoloi and Runamoni Das Boro, social workers Prabin Medhi and Mallika Sharma Bardoloi Officers, Mayang Development Block Officer, representatives and officers of Ghagua Panchayat and beneficiaries of various schemes were present.
