Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal initiated a series of emotional posts on social media, sharing a photo of Manish Sisodia hugging his wife before returning to jail amid an alleged liquor scam case. Kejriwal expressed his deep sadness about the situation.

Hours later, other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Raghav Chadha and Atishi, joined in, expressing their sympathy and support for Manish Sisodia, who was recently granted six-hour permission to visit his ailing wife while in Tihar jail.

Chadha, an AAP Rajya Sabha MP, wrote, "My eyes are moist after seeing this picture. Today, Manish ji got permission to meet his ailing wife for a few hours. Manish ji will not be able to light the lamp at his home on Diwali tomorrow, but he definitely brightened the future of lakhs of children in Delhi."

Delhi Education Minister Atishi shared a similar sentiment, writing, "This picture shakes the soul... Manish Sisodia is the person who awakened a dream in the eyes of millions of children. One day Modi ji will have to pay the price for these tears in the eyes of his family.

Kejriwal questioned the injustice faced by Sisodia, a person who had given hope to countless underprivileged children in the country. He expressed his anguish over the situation and highlighted Sisodia's commitment to improving the lives of children.

Manish Sisodia, who held several portfolios, including the Excise Department, in the Arvind Kejriwal government, had to resign as deputy chief minister and minister of different departments after his arrest in February. His recent bail application in the case was rejected by the Supreme Court.

The emotional posts reflect the strong bond and support within the AAP for their jailed colleague, Manish Sisodia, who continues to face legal challenges while serving his term in Tihar jail.
